What is Bounce?
BOUNCE is a one-day retreat for kids ages 7-12 that allows you to bring your kids and leaders, and we take care of the rest! Assemble your group, register them as a group with a 1:8 leader-to-child ratio, and plan to join us for one unforgettable day.
The day will soar with two dynamic, kid-friendly services with live worship and engaging teaching. As well as large group games, the world's largest picnic lunch, a full-blown carnival, and so much more!
The goal for BOUNCE is to provide a space for kids to have life changing encounters with Jesus, while making memories with new and old friends through fun and exciting activities together.
Who is Bounce for?
BOUNCE is for kids who are 7-12 years of age. It is a great way to end off your midweek program, or celebrate the ending of a school year together. Come with the kids from your ministries, and your leaders, for a great time together. No group is too big, or too small!
Please note: All children must be registered with a group.
What is the theme about?
We believe that God has created every child to soar. We believe that God has a calling on every child's life. When we trust in God, He gives us the strength to do what He calls and leads us to. We can SOAR high like eagles wherever God takes us!
Important things to know
What to bring:
Plan for a full day of fun! Wear comfortable clothing and footwear for outdoor and indoor games and activities, bring a hat, refillable water bottle, sunscreen and anything else needed to enjoy a full day. Reminder: In case of inclement weather, please bring appropriate rain gear and clothing.
Sensory Room:
Returning to BOUNCE this year, we will have a sensory room. This space is available for children who need a break from the noise, need a space to calm down, or need some alternate activities for them to enjoy. Here you will find a variety of sensory bins and activities, a calming corner, a craft table and more. Children must be supervised by their leaders at all times in this self-serve space.

Lunch is included in your registration costs. We will be ordering Boxed Lunches from Subway. Sandwich options include:

For those with dietary restrictions, please note that we are only able to accommodate Gluten Free and Dairy Free dietary needs. If someone in your group has severe allergies or dietary needs that cannot be accommodated, please plan to bring a lunch.

Leader Ratios:
Please ensure you have enough screened leaders to oversee your registered group for BOUNCE. It is suggested you have 1 leader for every 8 children registered.
Waiver Forms:
As the Western Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada is the event provider and facilitator, we require all participants to provide a signed waiver/indemnity release form.
Please be sure to download the waiver according to the location your group will be attending. WOD will require a copy of every completed form, which will be securely filed for confidential administrative use only.

For safety and security reasons, every person must be registered. If a parent/guardian would like to come with your group, they will need to be registered as a leader, and will be included in our planning numbers for your group.

We recommend that all children who attend BOUNCE are within the age range of 7-12 years old. If a parent/guardian needs to bring a younger child, they will need to register the younger child for the full event, and the parent/guardian will need to be registered as a leader for your group.

If lost items are found by us, they will be available at the event for retrieval, then returned to the Western Ontario District office and held for two weeks only.
