Dale Ruttan - Sarnia Cohort
For 32+ years, Dale has passionately served children in several Western Ontario District churches and also served as a Children's Pastor in Honduras, as a PAOC Global Worker. He desires to train, equip, and empower the next generation to be a lifelong followers of Jesus! He is married to Carolyn have three adult children, one grandchild, and Dale is obsessed with peanut butter with chocolate!
Sarabeth Fekete - London Cohort (Interim)
Sarabeth is the Church Life Pastor at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Tillsonburg, ON. She has over 20 years of ministry experience in Children & Family ministry. Sarabeth's passion is to cheer people on in their walk with Jesus, taking new steps and growing deeper - no matter their age! Outside of ministry, Sarabeth enjoys time with her husband and 4 kids, ice caps, event planning & Braeside.
Kara Mainse - Halton/Peel South Cohort
Kara Mainse has been serving in Children’s Ministry since 2014, with a heart for helping kids discover and grow in their faith. She is passionate about creating welcoming, meaningful spaces where children can learn about Jesus and experience God’s love.
Kara has been married for 12 years and is a proud mom of four beautiful children. Together with her husband, she serves as a “Kitchen Couple” with A Better Us, journeying alongside couples through all seasons of marriage and encouraging them to build strong, healthy, Christ-centered relationships. Kara is currently serving as the Kids Ministries Pastor at PORTICO Community Church in Mississauga, ON where she is grateful for the opportunity to serve her church and community.
Susan Smith - Windsor Cohort
Pastor Susan Smith serves as the Children’s Pastor at Parkwood Gospel Church in Windsor, ON, where she leads ministry for children from nursery through Grade 5. Susan has a passion for creating spaces where children feel known, loved, and safe, and where they can grow in their relationship with Jesus. She loves developing leaders and volunteers and helping others discover the joy and purpose of serving children and families. She is married to Kevin, and they have two daughters.
Laura Gerard - Brant Cohort
Laura is the Kids & Outreach Pastor at New Life Church in Brantford, ON. Originally from Northern Ontario, Laura's passion for working with children and families grew during her time as a Child & Youth Worker. Her experience supporting families with unique needs has equipped her to develop inclusive programs that make every child and family feel like they truly belong in the church community. Outside of ministry, Laura enjoys creating, sipping coffee, playing board games, and cherishing time with her husband, Trevor, and their three energetic boys.
Kathy Mead - Cambridge Cohort
Kathy Mead is ordained with the PAOC and has served as the Kids Pastor at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly for 13 years. As a Kids Ministry veteran, she has served in Edmonton, Sault Ste. Marie, and Guelph, before landing in Waterloo, Ontario with her husband Glen. Kathy believes that kids are called to be a part of the Mission of God, and is passionate about children finding and experiencing Jesus. Kathy is currently enrolled in the Masters of Theology program at Tyndale University in Toronto, loves to travel, loves Starbucks, and loves to get to know people over coffee.
Kimberley Oldford - Halton/Peel North Cohort
Kimberley Oldford has been serving in Children's Ministry for 25 years. She is ordained with the PAOC, a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (BTh/Yth). For seven years she served in Newfoundland as the Children and Outreach Pastor. Kimberley, Scott (her husband) and Kallista (daughter) live in Ontario, where she has been ministering as the Children and Family Ministry Pastor for the last 18 years. She works closely with families and their children, equipping them to live out their Deuteronomy 6 parental privilege. She is passionate about kids discovering God in a deeper way. She is dedicated to mentoring others to become leaders and use their unique gifts to serve.
Hailey Armoogan - Goderich, Toronto Cohorts
Hailey was raised in Western Ontario District but has spent most of her ministry career away having served overseas as the Children’s Pastor at King of Kings Community in Jerusalem, Israel, Children’s Specialist for PAOC Missions, Family Ministries Pastor in Sherwood Park, AB, Lead Pastor in Fort Smith, NT and Director of Northern Initiatives & Church Partnerships at the Alberta & NWT District Resource Centre. She is ordained with the PAOC, a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (BTh/Missions), Fuller Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Global Leadership) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry, Church Culture & Semiotics at Portland Seminary. She is passionate about effectively reaching, teaching and discipling children and families to be life-long followers of Jesus and supporting and equipping those who lead them.
